Carina grew up in Greenwich, CT, where she spent most of her formative years stressed out about whether Joey Potter would end up with Dawson or Pacey. She attended college at the University of Colorado in Boulder, where she majored in "The O.C." and Creative Writing. Promptly after graduating she packed everything she owned into her car and drove to Los Angeles, while listening to the "Back to the Future" score and trying to keep the speedometer at exactly 88 miles per hour.

After arriving in La La Land, Carina worked as a production assistant, a personal assistant, and a literary agent's assistant, and mostly hated all of that. Reprieve came when she began writing for the Los Angeles Times Showtracker, where she covered several shows, including her favorite -- "The Vampire Diaries." She had so much fun interacting with "TVD" fans that when opportunity came knocking she decided to take a shot at writing about TV full-time and joined the Zap2it family.

Today, Carina is Zap2it's resident CW-holic, and she's in desperate need of a Twittervention. Carina's first priority is getting the fans the scoop you're dying for from the casts and crews of your favorite shows -- and she's traveled to studios and sets in New York, Vancouver, and Atlanta in her quest to do so. She is passionate about civil rights and the environment, and she's most proud of her work helping TV stars like Ian Somerhalder and Sophia Bush raise awareness and funds for favorite causes.

In Carina's spare time, she loves skiing, painting, reading poetry (seriously), and arguing with strangers about "Gilmore Girls." Contrary to the rumors, Joshua Jackson does not actually have a restraining order against her, though it might be in his best interest to get one.

TV town I want to live in: Stars Hollow! Somewhere there, Dean Forester is lonely. I will find him, and he will love me.

My first celebrity crush: Justin Timberlake, back when his hair was platinum and he only wore baby blue and silver.

Something people don't know about me: My favorite song is "Thunder Road." It's also my mom's favorite song. Apples and trees, I guess.

Guilty pop culture addiction: I watch Oprah every single day. When her show goes off the air I'll likely be traumatized and turn to a life of crime. [Update: Oprah is over. I'm not quite sure how to start my life of crime, but if anyone has any ideas, hit me up.]

Movie that makes me cry: "Life as a House" - "If you were a house, Sam, this is where you'd want to be built. On rock, facing the sea. Listening, listening." I'm crying right NOW.

Celebrity I'd switch teams for: Adrianne Palicki from "Friday Night Lights" and the short-lived "Lonestar."

First celebrity I ever interviewed: Kevin Williamson! I was so nervous, he probably thought I was a lunatic.
