2011 TeenNick Halo Awards: Nick Cannon, Jason Derulo and more
Since 2009, the Halo Awards have been honoring teens who work hard to make the world a better place. For the 2011 awards, Gaga, Derulo, Jessica Biel, Mary J. Blige, David Beckham and Taylor Swift join Chairman Nick Cannon to celebrate those who work their hardest to help and lead others in their community and around the world.
2011 honorees include James O'Dwyer (above, far right), who did work for Tuscaloosa, AL in the wake of the devastating tornado; Emily-Anne Rigal (above, left), who founded the anti-bullying website WeStopHate.org; Shanoah Washington (above, right), who developed a mentoring program for young women called Sista2Sista; and Kyle Weiss (above, far left), who started FundaField, which to date has funded the building of nine soccer fields in Africa.
