'2 Broke Girls': A 'revolving door' of love interests, 'more ups and downs'

2-broke-girls-paleyfest.jpgThe cast of "2 Broke Girls" and creator Michael Patrick King took part in Paleyfest 2013 Thursday night (March 14), where King teased what's to come the rest of Season 2.

As far as love interests for the girls go, King says it's "literally a revolving door."

"Who finds the love of their life at 24? They're in and they're out," says King. "Of course there will be more guys, look at them. They're beautiful and so flawed ... the characters! The characters are flawed."

He also says that the show isn't teasing the audience with this promise of a cupcake business. It's trying to be realistic in terms of 20-somethings trying to earning their way.

"[It's] more ups and downs. What we love on the show is that it does pay attention to money," says King. "They really don't have the rent. It's really fun for us to continually raise the bank account and smash it. They're aspirational. They're gonna take a lot of punches and they're going to have a lot of victories."

"2 Broke Girls" airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
