'2 Broke Girls' premiere: Will you spend time with Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs?
"2 Broke Girls," the new CBS comedy from "Sex and the City" executive producer Michael Patrick King and the star of NBC's "Whitney," made its debut Monday (Sept. 19) night -- and based on our assumption that a lot of people tuned into lead-in "Two and a Half Men," we're guessing many of you caught it.
So what did you think? Are Max ( Kat Dennings) and Caroline ( Beth Behrs) adorably impoverished or do you find their sassy waitress shtick unappetizing?
And, on the pun-less front, does anyone know how they scored an adorable Williamsburg rental (complete with backyard big enough for a horse) on such a restricted budget?
The show seems to have a lot of potential. Dennings' one-liners, in particular, had us roaring a few times. But the premise, some of the stereotyped supporting players and CBS' attempt at hipster-lampooning could all get old, real quick.
Tell us what you think. And if you do plan on sticking with "2 Broke Girls," note that it moves to its regular timeslot, 8:30 p.m. ET, next Monday (Sept. 26).
