we had a few moments to chat with
between takes about the evolution of his character Dixon and what we can expect in the coming episodes.
Now that Dixon's HIV scare is over, he has gotten back to the business of repairing his relationship with Ivy (played by
). But, that may be easier said than done when she confesses that she not only slept with
the new troublemaker
, Oscar (
), but also lost her virginity to him.
That move will apparently cost her. "It definitely hurt Dixon," Wilds, 21, tells us. "And put him in a really emotional place to where they may not be together anymore."
Break ups may be the theme of Dixon's storyline in the coming episodes. He and Annie (
Shenae Grimes) have noticed their mother is still wearing her wedding ring when news arrives from their dad, Harry.
"We see that some divorce papers came," Wilds says. "So, we're nervous that our mom's still wearing the wedding ring. Us being the meddling kids that we are, we decide to go tell our dad."
That opens the door to another surprise for the siblings when they discover their father may have already moved on from Debbie. Thankfully, Dixon has some lighter things to look forward to when the West Bev kids decide to celebrate their shortcomings with The Undies, an event that honors underachievement.
"Everything's bad," laughs Wilds. "Achievement is spelled bad. Everything is just the worst. The only thing that's great about it is the music, because Dixon is deejaying."
