The 95-year-old underboss of the Colombo crime family was sentenced in January 2011 of extorting Manhattan strip clubs and a Long Island pizzeria.

The New York Post reports prosecutors had asked for a 12-year incarceration for Franzese, who was eventually sentenced to eight years.

According to an FBI agent who testified against him, Franzese has bragged about killing 60 people over the years and once contemplated having his own son murdered when he began cooperating with the government.

Franzese is currently scheduled to be released in 2017, at which time he will be 100-years-old.
