ABC Family is ready to get into the reality-show game. On Wednesday (Feb. 13), network president Michael Riley announced the pick-up of two new reality series, "Dancing Fools" and "The Vineyard." Both series will go into production this spring and will air during the summer of 2013.

"Dancing Fools," hosted by Melissa Peterman ( "Baby Daddy," "Bet on Your Baby"), is a half-hour, unscripted comedy. ABC Family didn't announce any other details, but we can guess that this probably involves a dance competition of some sort.

Phil Gurin ( "The Singing Bee," "Oh Sit") created and will executive-produce the show.

"The Vineyard" is described as a "dramatic coming-of-age docu-soap." The program will follow a group of 20-somethings working on Martha's Vineyard for the summer. Mischief and romance are expected when the group shares a house and the youths work and play together. It might be something like "Jersey Shore" in this way, only colder and less orange.

Dave Broome ( "The Biggest Loser") and Brian Smith ( "Masterchef") are behind this series.

These two reality shows join two previously announced scripted programs -- "The Fosters" and "Twisted" on ABC Family for the summer.
