ABC renews 'V,' cancels 'FlashForward,' 'Romantically Challenged,' 'Scrubs,' 'Better Off Ted'

V-Romantically-Challenged-ABC.jpg "V" is safe and sound, according to Deadline Hollywood. Having seen a boost in ratings in recent weeks, ABC has reportedly picked up a 13-episode second season for the show.

On the losing end of the fall TV spectrum are "Romantically Challenged," "Scrubs," "Better Off Ted,'"and "FlashForward," reports EW.

Alyssa Milano's "Romantically Challenged" perhaps comes as the biggest surprise among the reportedly canceled shows (ABC has not officially commented yet on any of them). Although Milano wants "RC" fans not to get too upset yet. She tweeted out Thursday after EW's report:

#romanticallychallenged I just spoke to abc. They say that no decision has been made as of yet.

Zach Braff did the opposite for "Scrubs" fans two months ago, breaking the news himself that it's a no-go for a next season of "Scrubs" via Facebook when he posted:

Many of you have asked, so here it is: it appears that "New Scrubs", "Scrubs 2.0?, "Scrubs with new kids", "Scrubbier", "Scrubs without JD" is no more. It was worth a try, but alas... it didn't work. zb
