ABC rules your DVR; Oprah's Oscar party; Spike TV picks up two new original series

In this helping of TV Snacks, there's some partying going on. ABC is thrilled by its DVR numbers, the Oscars must be one of Oprah Winfrey's favorite things, and we're sure there are some TV producers cheering Spike TV's recent pick-ups.

ABC can claim victory in this week's DVR war. The network has the top 3 series watched on DVR and can also claim five of the top six series watched on DVR. The top three shows were "Grey's Anatomy," "Modern Family," and "Castle." [ TVByTheNumbers.com]

"The Oprah Winfrey Show" is throwing a star-studded Oscar bash today. Academy Award winners, Susan Sarandon, Sissy Spacek, and Holly Hunter are joined by this year's nominees, Melissa Leo, Geoffrey Rush and Aaron Sorkin. [ The Oprah Winfrey Show]

Spike TV has ordered two new man-centric original series. In "Bar Rescue" (from the producers of "The Biggest Loser," a man helps save failing bars. Oxygen gets into the "Glee" game with its airing of "Grease Sing-A-Long" on Friday, Feb. 4 during its "Gleekend" this week. [ Oxygen]

Bravo brings back its popular "Talk Bubble" during "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" reunion on Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 10 p.m. ET. Real Housewives from the 90210, New York and O.C. franchises will join producers and fans to answer questions and tweet along. [ Bravo]
