ABC's 'Revolution' will be televised starting in January

ABC says the health- and lifestyle-focused "Revolution" will debut Monday, Jan. 16. It's moving into the spot soon to be vacated by soap opera "One Life to Live," which will air its final episode on Jan. 13.

Like "The Chew," "The Revolution" will feature a group of five co-hosts: Ty Pennington of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," who will share his design skills and general enthusiasm with guests; style guru Tim Gunn; women's health expert Dr. Jennifer Ashton; therapist and relationship counselor Dr. Tiffanie Davis Henry; and trainer and nutritionist Harley Pasternak. Each week will also focus on one woman's "personal journey" -- presumably toward better health and a better life -- over five months.

The show's producers are also behind "The Biggest Loser" and "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition," so that should give you some idea as to "The Revolution's" focus.

"The Chew" has performed OK so far in its first season and has grown its total audience for the past several weeks.
