luke-bryan-acms.jpgCountry cutie Luke Bryan took to the stage at the 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards to perform "I Don't Want This Night to End," the second single off his 2011 album "Tailgates and Tanlines." Wearing his signature white t-shirt, Bryan had the crowd riled up during his performance.

Bryan will be back on CBS performing in "Lionel Richie and Friends - In Concert," the taping of which takes place Monday night (April 2) in Las Vegas. He'll perform "Runnin' With the Night" alongside Richie and he says he's very excited.

Bryan tells Taste of Country, "He is by far in my top three most influential songwriters and artists of all time. I met him at the CMAs. He walked up and said, 'Hey Luke.' I almost hit the floor backstage. [Then a few weeks] ago for [Country Radio Seminar], I had the opportunity to sing with him and meet him. We had our fingers crossed certainly on getting to be a part of the Lionel Richie tribute."

Should be a great concert. "Lionel Richie and Friends" airs on CBS Friday, April 13 and features an all-star lineup that includes Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean and Tim McGraw.
