Adam Levine swears off marriage, breaks the world's heart
The Maroon 5 frontman hasn't hurt for attention from the ladies. He's romanced Victoria's Secret knockouts and is currently dating model Behati Prinsloo, but, as he says in the May issue of NYLON Guys, he's not ever planning to put a ring on it.
"I'm doing pretty well. If you don't get married, you can't get divorced," Levine explains. "Why couldn't we learn from the devastatingly low percentage of successful marriages that our last generation went through?"
Levine, who's having quite a moment with both the resurgent success of his band and his role as a coach on hit NBC reality show "The Voice," tells the magazine that you'll never hear him complain about his workload.
"It's a lot. But it might not be a lot someday. I don't like to complain. You have this moment. It doesn't last forever. You should probably try and enjoy it."
Levine also insists that reports of new Season 4 coach Shakira earning double his salary for their roles on the singing competition don't bring him down. "She's Shakira dude!" he says. "She's a f***ing international superstar! I don't care. It's just money."
