Adele performing at the Grammys in her return from vocal-cord surgery
The multiple Grammy Award nominee will also perform at the Grammy show. It will be her first time on stage since she had surgery to remove a polyp on her vocal cords in November. The condition forced her to cancel a U.S. tour in the fall.
"I'm immensely proud to have been asked to perform at this year's Grammy Awards," Adele says in a statement. "It's an absolute honor to be included in such a night, and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-wracking, but what a way to get back into it all."
Adele joins a lineup of performers for the Feb. 12 show that also includes Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson, the Foo Fighters, Coldplay and Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Paul McCartney, Bruno Mars and Glen Campbell with The Band Perry and Blake Shelton.
She's also nominated for six Grammys, including album of the year ("21") and song and record of the year ("Rolling in the Deep").
