Adele post-Oscar plans: A Beyonce 'Life is But A Dream'-style documentary and maybe a musical

adele-oscar-academy-awards-gi.jpg Adele is now the proud new owner of an Academy Award to accompany her nine Grammys and Critics' Choice Award.

After winning the Oscar for Best Original Song for "Skyfall," the winner of more than 100 total accolades says she would like to add an Emmy Award and a Tony Award to her mantle.

So, how will she do it? "Maybe I'll do an HBO special like Beyonce did," the new mom tells Billboard. "And a Tony, I'm not so sure. Maybe someday I'll do a musical."

Beyonce's fluff piece docu brought in record ratings for HBO, but critics and fans thought it was pretty lame-o. Perhaps Adele would do a better job with a similar project. She tells Billboard when you work with the right people, some projects just can't go wrong. For instance, the collaborations she worked on with Paul Epworth, "Skyfall" anther 2012 hit album "21."

"Sometimes it just happens great like it does with us," Adele says. "You just got to connect and hope for the best. Be really honest with whoever you are working with. I cried the first time when I talked to Paul about my ex and then 'Rolling in the Deep' happened."
