Finally, the events of a movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will have a direct effect on "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD." Episode 8, "The Well," takes place in the immediate aftermath of "Thor: The Dark World," but it doesn't seem like the ABC drama will pick up from where the movie left off.

Instead, like in the "Agents of SHIELD" pilot and the Marvel One-Shot "Item 47," the episode looks like it will focus on the way normal people respond to getting superhuman technology. When an Asgardian staff gets into the wrong hands, it gives humans super strength, and also seems to have a very negative affect on Agent Ward.

The synopsis for "The Well" reads, "In the aftermath of the events chronicled in the feature film 'Marvel's Thor: The Dark World,' Coulson and the Agents of SHIELD pick up the pieces -- one of which threatens to destroy a member of the team."

Like noted above, Ward is likely that member who might be destroyed. Fingers crossed that the episode also deals with the fate of that ice monster as well.

"Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" airs Tuesdays on ABC at 8 p.m. Are you looking forward to "SHIELD's" first crossover episode?
