'Marvel's Agents of SHIELD' star Clark Gregg talks Coulson's possibly 'magical' resurrection on 'Larry King Now'
One of the biggest mysteries surrounding ABC's new hit drama "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" is just how exactly Agent Coulson, played by Clark Gregg, came back from the dead after being fatally impaled by Loki in "Marvel's The Avengers."
Though the agent keeps telling everyone on the show that he recovered "in Tahiti," there seems to be a deeper secret over how he was resurrected from death, and Gregg spilled the beans about a possible "magical" reason on "Larry King Now."
"I think there's a little more to Tahiti than meets the eye," Gregg says. "There's a much darker, more interesting story there. Something much more magical has gone on to bring this guy back to life."
While Gregg may not know all the secrets of Coulson's resurrection, he does have a general idea of where Joss Whedon is taking his story. "I know more than the audience, but less than the writers," Gregg says. "I'm hoping if nothing else this whole Tahiti thing on the show gets me a trip there."
