'Agents of SHIELD's' Chloe Bennet details Stan Lee kiss attempt on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

"Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" star Chloe Bennet appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Monday (Jan. 20), and the charming chat between the pair hit on everything from him being one of her celebrity crushes to her time as a pop star in China.

But the best moment came when Kimmel pulled up a picture of Stan Lee (who is appearing on "Agents of SHIELD's" next episode) trying to kiss Bennet.

"He just kind of saw a low-cut shirt, I think, and just went in to kiss me, and a split second in my mind I was like, 'OK, you've got to make a decision' -- he's going for my mouth. It was a straight aim. There may have been tongue, I don't know," she admits of the "Thor: The Dark World" premiere run-in. "I just [leaned back]. I double-chinned it, which is what that was."

Considering Lee later came to set to shoot an appearance, Bennet is happy with her decision to avoid the smooch. "It would have been like a really awkward run-in after an awkward date," she says. "He probably would actually not have remembered."

Also, for the record, the pop song Bennet is referring to is here in all its glory (sorry Chloe):

In the below video, Bennet reveals that Kimmel is her No. 2 celebrity crush (Benedict Cumberbatch is No. 1, obviously), and that she once freaked out after seeing him for the first time in person at a Hollywood party:
