Alec Baldwin: Not 'horny' for New York mayoral race

alec-baldwin-mayoral-campaign-poster.jpg Alec Baldwin, who has been dabbling with the idea of a run for political office for years, says he's no longer thinking about jumping into the New York City mayoral race. Why? Because, he says, he isn't "horny" for it like other candidates, reports Reuters.

"I've lost my appetite," Baldwin says on his WNYC podcast Wednesday (Dec. 21), adding that the other candidates are, "like a guy on a date that you can tell he just can't wait to get his hand up your blouse before even the lights go out in the theater."

"They're all just so horny for it," he added.

The change of heart comes soon after Baldwin's latest public meltdown -- he was kicked off of an American Airlines flight after refusing to power down his smart phone.

Baldwin, who's "30 Rock" contract ends after this season, also hinted that he may be rethinking his exit.

"Give this up for what?" he said. "I give up money and fame and position and success; I give up this wonderful life I have now in exchange for the chance to 'really change things?'... Yeah, I'm not quite sure you can anymore."
