NBC made the surprise announcement back in February that it will be resurrecting its former hit
for a new 13-episode event series called "Heroes Reborn." With the show coming out in 2015, details about plot or returning cast have been kept completely under wraps.
Still, it doesn't sound like Ali Larter is interested in returning to her former franchise.
spoke with Larter while she was promoting her upcoming TNT series
at WonderCon Anaheim 2014, and she seemed very hands-off with "Heroes Reborn."
"When I saw that, I was like, 'Wow! Great!' I'm super happy for [creator Tim Kring], and if that's what he wants to do I think that's fantastic," Larter says of the announcement. "I haven't talked to the rest of the cast. I don't even think it's written yet, so I don't even know what they're going to do with it. I just know that my face was splashed all over, and I got about a thousand calls from it.
"It was an amazing time in my life. The first season of the show will forever be one of the best times I've ever had. It was just a really special time. For that, I hope that it work out well for them, and I wish them only the best."
"Heroes" originally ran from 2006-2010. "Legends" premieres Aug. 20 on TNT.
