Comedian Jay Mohr might want to consider picking his targets a bit more carefully from now on. The former "Saturday Night Live" funny man, who now tours as a stand-up comic and hosts a podcast, made some unflattering comments about "Mistresses" star and "Project Runway: All Stars" host Alyssa Milano, after the two crossed paths at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series awards ceremony on December 6.
During a radio interview after the event, Mohr joked, "It seems like she had a baby and said, 'I don't really give a s***'," adding, "I read it on her gut." He also seemed confused about who she was, referring to her as "Melissa what's-her-name."
Milano didn't take the jab too kindly, but dealt with it in a very classy way with a tweet. ".@jaymohr37 So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me," she writes. "Be well and God Bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife." Mohr is married to actress Nikki Cox, who gave birth in 2011, like Milano.
Not too long after, Mohr backtracked on his comments with what might be considered an apology, but it really just him trying to talk his way out of it. "She's stunning," he tweets. "I mistakenly thought the absurdity of what I was saying would have ben [sic] taken as a joke." Milano wins this round.
