At 40 years old, Alyssa Milano is still the dream girlfriend of the 1980s. She continues to look the part too, as is evidenced by her turn in Maxim. The actress, currently starring in ABC's "Mistresses" stripped down for the magazine's July/August cover, and she looks fantastic.
She also shares a unique viewpoint of being a child star, one which doesn't really doesn't exist anymore. As one of the stars of "Who's The Boss," which began in 1982, Milano is one of the rare child actors from that era that was able to continue her career. "I think Christina Applegate and I are the only two who maintained some sort of career path past the shows that launched us," she says, adding "That was an era when TV child actors just didn't work after their show was over."
However, there's a lot of that time she simply can't recall. "I don't really remember the specifics of it," Milano admits, "People will bring up old episodes, and I'll be like, nope, don't remember doing that one. At. All."
She does remember normal childhood events that most go through, and their influence on the show, though. "I went through puberty like everyone else; it only got embarrassing when the show would take what was going on with me and write it into the show, like, 'Samantha's First Bra'," she recalls, "It was like, 'OK guys, do we really need to do this?'"
Now, Alyssa is a married mom. She and her husband, David Bugliari, have a one-year-old son named Milo. She's also not hurting for work. Between starring in eight seasons of "Charmed," which ended in 2007, and now "Mistresses," Milano seems to be doing alright.
