Amanda Bynes insists she's 'doing amazing'

amanda-bynes-im-doing-amazing-gi.jpg Amanda Bynes has been involved in a couple of hit-and-run accidents in the past few months, has been charged with DUI and, according to a recent report, was behaving erratically in an exercise class.

Bynes, however, is unconcerned.

"I am doing amazing," Bynes says in an interview with People. "I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line."

She also continues to brush aside the vehicular mishaps she's allegedly been involved in over the past few months. "I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don't drink, and I don't drink and drive. It is all false," she says in the interview.

A judge ruled Wednesday (Sept. 19) that Bynes could remain free on her own recognizance until her DUI case comes before the court on Oct. 29.

Still, "People around Amanda are really concerned about her," A source who's spent time with Bynes recently tells People. "She tells people she doesn't party or drink. She doesn't realize she has a problem."
