Amanda Bynes to team up with Waka Flocka Flame for debut rap album
Waka tells TMZ that he and the troubled actress are working out a record deal with his Brick Squad Monopoly label and, though nothing's been signed, he's already begun hiring people to start writing tracks for Bynes, which is probably for the best. Can you imagine Bynes writing them on her own, with her limited insult vocabulary? (She seems to only know the word "ugly" when it's time to disparage someone on Twitter.)
Mr. Flame says he and Bynes FaceTime at least once a week and text every day. He says the album will be called "Shots," which sounds totally appropriate for a girl facing DUI charges. Of the album, Waka says he'll be featured on several songs, adding, "It's going to be crazy hot."
When asked if he thinks there's something possibly wrong with Bynes, leading to her recently erratic behavior, Waka scoffs. "Not at all," he tells the website. "She has it all together to me. She is cool as hell and ready for the rap world. I think she is going to kill the game."
Why should Waka think there's anything wrong with Bynes? After all, she's his new ticket to more press.
This isn't the first record deal Bynes has been offered. On June 12, it was reported that Chinga Chang Records offered the former "All That" star a deal for her own album. Whether they're still in the mix is unclear. Perhaps they discovered that there is, in fact, something wrong with Bynes that deserves help rather than exploitation.
Nah. Who are we kidding? Bynes probably just called the label head ugly or something.
Does the prospect of an Amanda Bynes rap album make you weep?
