Amanda Bynes tweets first message to fans since leaving rehab

"I'm busy studying at FIDM, but I want to say I love you to my fans," she wrote on Twitter Friday night (Feb. 28).

Bynes made headlines in 2013 for tweeting increasingly bizarre things, including calling people "ugly" and a strange message to rapper Drake. The actress was involuntarily entered into a UCLA psych ward in July 2013 after increasingly erratic behavior led to several arrests, and she was deemed mentally unfit to stand trial for her DUI arrest.

After receiving treatment at UCLA and later a private treatment center in Malibu, where reports confirm her condition drastically improved, she was released into the care of her mother (and outpatient treatment) in December 2013.

Bynes' DUI case was dismissed in February after she made a plea deal that included three years probation, a fine and an alcohol education course.
