What those opportunities might be was not disclosed. One would imagine they would mostly be interviews.
Barnett has previously represented singer Barbra Streisand and presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama and writer Bob Woodward in book deals, among a long list of others.
Knox and her then-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were convicted in 2009 of murdering their flatmate Meredith Kercher, but the charges were overturned on appeal after forensic investigators criticized the police's gathering and use of scientific evidence in the original investigation.
