Amanda Seyfried: My 'vagina' chooses all my boyfriends
Considering Amanda Seyfried's next movie "Lovelace" features her starring at a porn star, it's not a surprise to find that she doesn't mince words in interviews. The actress opens up about love and relationships in a new conversation with Elle, and explains the part of anatomy has selected all of the men in her life.
"Everybody I've dated I've been sexually attracted to immediately," Seyfried tells Elle. "Sparks don't grow -- your vagina doesn't become more inclined to wanting someone just because you're around them."
Among those esteemed exes are men like Ryan Phillippe and Josh Hartnett, but Seyfried says that it's her former "Mama Mia!" costar Dominic Cooper who still has a special place in her heart. The couple dated for three years before she found out he was still seeing someone else, but they still seem to be close.
"We love each other," Seyfried says. "He'll always be in my life regardless of what his girlfriends or future wife think. I'm never going to be with a guy that can't deal with my friendship with him."
So who is Seyfried's vagina leading her to now? For the first time in a long time, someone who isn't in the Hollywood business.
"[He's] someone separate from my industry life -- I've known him since he was 16," she says. "I picture him as the father of my children all the time. But it is a fantasy right now."
