'American Horror Story' finds its Angelina Jolie in Lizzie Brochere

lizzie-brochere-ahs.jpg "American Horror Story" announced last month that Season 2 would feature a character named Gia, a girl reminiscent of Angelina Jolie's character in "Girl, Interrupted." TV Line is reporting that the show has found its girl.

Instead of going with a known name (we suggested Evan Rachel Wood or Alexis Bledel), "AHS" has tapped French actress Lizzie Brocheré. She will be playing what is billed as  "nemesis" for Jessica Lange's new character, though an insider tells TV Line the role has been considerably revamped from its original description.

Brocheré, most recently seen in Belgium flick "Sleepless Night" and US movie "After Fall, Winter," is pretty much a newcomer to the States. She certainly has a good look for the "American Horror Story" character, though.

Season 2 of "AHS" will feature retuning actors Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Zachary Quinto and Lily Rabe. Adam Levine has also been cast in a recurring guest role.
