Though "American Horror Story" continues to grow in popularity, one of its stars is already thinking about what comes next. Jessica Lange, who plays Supreme Witch Fiona in "American Horror Story: Coven," says she's looking to retire from acting.

During an interview about her photography book, "It Is About a Little Bird," on "Today," Jessica was asked about leaving acting. "I think within a couple years," she says. "I want a new adventure in life, I've been doing this for a long time."

Lange doesn't know what that new adventure will be, but adds, "I want to be open to the possibility and you can only do that if you're not committed to something else."

That said, she's enjoying herself on "AHS: Coven," even if she's not a fan of the horror genre. "What's great about what is do is we've got 12 episodes to investigate and explore a character," she says.

However, she doesn't actually watch the series, or any of her work. "When I'm doing it I don't want to watch it because it might affect the work that I'm doing," she explains. "When it's over I feel like it's over and it's of no interest to me anymore."
