'American Idol': 'Glee' star Harry Shum, Jr. is rooting for Crystal Bowersox

crystal-bowersox-320.jpgNow that "Glee" and "American Idol" have settled comfortably into their role as neighbors on the FOX schedule, here comes the fun part: making their stars choose favorites!

When Zap2it caught up with "Glee" star Harry Shum, Jr. recently, we asked him to weigh in on who should be the next "American Idol"

While he admits he isn't a regular viewer of the show-- apparently working on a hit television series takes up a lot of time?!-- Shum threw his support behind Crystal Bowersox.

"I liked her," Shum tells us in the video below. "When I went and watched a taping, I really liked her vibe and I loved that she plays the guitar. She's kind of like a real artist, you know? So I loved her."
