'American Idol': Harry Connick Jr. cradles Munfarid Zandi in his arms after good audition

One of our favorite auditions of the "American Idol" Season 13 premiere was Munfarid Zandi, who was one of the few singers to actually know who new judge Harry Connick Jr. is.

And Zandi doesn't just know of the judge, he's a huge HCJ fan -- "I got one, I got one!" cheers HCJ -- so Connick Jr. promises Zandi that if he blows them away with his first song, Connick Jr. will hold Zandi like a baby for the second song.

"That is a weird incentive," deadpans fellow judge Keith Urban.

Zandi, a 19-year-old student from Texas, stuns the judges with his smooth, crooner voice on "Crazy for You" by Adele and HCJ swoops Zandi up into his arms for the second song, as promised. It's hilarious, Keith and Jennifer Lopez start cracking up.

Zandi gets a ticket and we look forward to more of the bromance with him in Hollywood. What did you think of Munfarid Zandi?
