hollie-cavanagh-idol-tina-turner.jpgFor the 1960s song choice on "American Idol," Hollie Cavanagh chose Tina Turner's hit "River Deep, Mountain High" and she absolutely nailed it. It sounded great, plus she was bopping around, having a great time and shaking it like a little go-go dancer at times. We loved it.

The judges loved it too. Steven Tyler says, "Hollie that's the first time I've really heard you step out and use your blues ... through some of those runs, that's it. You just did it. Thank you, Lord." And Jennifer Lopez adds, "It was nice to see you surrounded by a bigger production ... I could really feel you attacking the song."

Hollie definitely gave it her all - we think it was her best other than "Rolling In the Deep." What did you think, "Idol" fans? MP3 is below, in case you missed it.
