The "American Idol" Season 13 judges appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Wednesday (Jan. 15), where newbie Harry Connick Jr. says that he is having a great time.

"It's a blast. It's so fun. ... The people I'm sitting with up here are exactly what you think, they'e the coolest people, they're laid-back. We're having so much fun," says Connick Jr. "This beautiful woman right here [points at Jennifer Lopez], there's a reason that she's a superstar. She's amazing and I get to sit next to her every day. I get sit next to Keith Urban and it's just cool, it's exactly what you would want a great show like 'American Idol' to be."

J-Lo chimes in that the three of them are just a great combination. They get along but they are not afraid to disagree with each other "and it works."

Below, the judges play a form of charades with Ellen that leads to HCJ and Urban helping J-Lo mime giving birth. Delightful.

"American Idol" XIII premieres Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
