got-your-6.jpgOn the Wednesday, May 9 "American Idol" performance show, Ryan Seacrest, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler wore tiny pins with the number 6 on their lapels. Now, we've realized they were supporting "Got Your 6," a brand-new campaign aimed toward helping returning military vets readjust to civilian life by providing them with jobs, education and other much-needed support.

In the military, "I've got your 6" means "I've got your back." Stars like Alec Baldwin, Michael Douglas, Tom Hanks, Milla Jovovich, Bradley Cooper, Sarah Jessica Parker, Tracy Morgan, Brian Williams and more have all pitched in for the campaign.

Even Funny or Die has gotten in on the act, with real-life military vet and comedian Rob Riggle showing people like Taran Killam and "American Idol" vet Casey Abrams that he's got their backs by slapping them really hard. Don't worry, it works in context.

Check out some PSA videos below, and share your support for the campaign in the comments! Frankly, it's the least we can do.
