'American Idol' producer looking for 'CMT's Next Superstar'; 'Bones' takes its show to the iPad

In this round of Zap2it's TV Snacks, Country will get its own "Idol," "Bones" fans will get all kinds of new ways to interact and a certain cooking competition is going islander.

Country fans are getting their own "American Idol" as producer, Nigel Lythgoe will be looking for "CMT's Next Superstar." The winner will need to be a triple threat: "Performer, personality and writer," says Lythgoe. The competition begins airing in April. [ TVGuide.com]
