american-idol-top-8-bottom-2-cj-harris-malaya-watson.jpgWith the "American Idol" Season 13 save off the table, someone who did a pretty okay job during Top 8 redux week was definitely going home. With C.J. and Malaya landing in the Bottom 2, who got the boot?

After an uncharacteristically weak week, Malaya got the least amount of votes from America.

The show opened with the usual montage of the Idols reflecting on the night's show, but instead of an awkward dinner it was an awkwardly-staged poolside nosh, at the end of which some of 'em jumped fully clothed into the pool. These guys are sort of fun, even though you don't usually see that on performance nights!

In case that wasn't enough proof, the awkwardly-staged Ford commercial featured the kids playing a game of "Would You Rather" (which then segued into the judges playing). Nothing says FUN more than forcing kids to have it!

The first group called to the stage included Dexter, Jessica, Caleb and C.J., with Caleb, Jessica and Dexter headed to safety, and C.J. headed to the Bottom 2 stools. After a break, Sam, Malaya, Alex and Jena were called up, with Alex, Jena and Sam and Malaya sent to the stools.

Landing on the bottom, though, was Malaya, who gave an emotional performance of "I Am Changing" at the end of the show before bursting into tears at the end of the song.

Do you think the right person went home? Did the judges use their save too early?
