'American Idol' creator Simon Fuller and Hulu's first original series premieres in March

if-i-can-dream-hulu-320.jpg' American Idol' creator Simon Fuller and Hulu believe they're taking web TV to a whole new level with its first original series, "If I Can Dream," premiering Tue. March 2 on Hulu.

The reality-ish show reminds us of something like MTV's " The Hills" and " The City." It revolves around five young people chasing after their dream careers in Los Angeles.

The cast (pictured above, from left) includes blond bombshell actress Kara; hot model turned actor Ben; Angelina Jolie lookalike and model Giglianne; model turned musician Justin; and Actress/Model (not sure why they need her with Kara around) Amanda.

Hulu calls the show groundbreaking in that it hopes to turn a relatively high budget web TV show into a hit by cutting out television broadcast altogether. Additionally, fans can watch the cast 24/7 at ificandream.com. Aspiring artists can also submit video auditions to the show on MySpace.
