howard-stern-agt-promo.jpgThe "King of all Media" Howard Stern will soon hold court on "America's Got Talent." And now we know when the chaos will begin.

NBC has announced the summertime talent competition will kick off Season 7 with two-hour episodes on May 14 and 15. Stern will be joined on the judging table by the returning Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne. Nick Cannon will continue in his job as host.

Stern will bring a lot of intrigue to the show as he replaces Piers Morgan.  But will the initial interest result in long-term ratings success? "AGT" has been the first place summer series for the last six years. It averaged more than 14 million viewers on its Tuesday broadcast and 13.3 million viewers on its Wednesday results show. So Stern has a tough challenge ahead.

So Zappers, are you excited about Stern joining the series?
