'America's Got Talent' under fire for Howard Stern from Parents Television Council

howard-stern-americas-got-talent.jpgThe Parents Television Council has fired off a letter to the sponsors of "America's Got Talent," threatening to cut ties with them over new judge Howard Stern. TMZ obtained the letter, which was sent to 91 advertisers and tells them to keep their advertising money away from the show because Stern will corrupt America's children.

The PTC cites Stern's often crude language and specifically quotes his comments in regards to "American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino, wherein he said she was "not getting little boys hard" and "nobody was b****** off to [her]."

The PTC also says Stern is only an expert at "looking at insecure, naked young women and telling them whether or not they were hot enough to pose for Playboy."

It'll be interesting to see if any advertisers pull out of the show. We are not a Stern fan by any stretch of the imagination, but based on the clips NBC has released so far, he looks like he might be an OK judge on "AGT."

What do you think, viewers?
