'America's Got Talent': Who makes the finals?Add to Favorites | America's Got Talent
The first group brought down is is Turf, the Scott Brothers and Joe Castillo. It should be SB that advances, but it would not surprise us if the voting audience likes Castillo the best. And then that's what happens. Huh. He's great at what he does, but it's gotten a little worn. Oh well.
The second group is Andrew de Leon, William Close and Academy of Villains, which should be William Close, but we got the last one wrong too. Fortunately, William Close does advance. That's nice for him, he's unique. And not many acts on this show can say that -- same goes for Castillo. At least he's different (we don't see what he does as that similar to Silhouettes. Completely different medium, plus he does the art all by himself.)
The third group is Donovan and Rebecca, Oliver and his dog and Edon. Huh. We think D&R were the best out of these three, but we bet that's not who advances. Probably Edon, which is a shame. He's really not that special. Except it's the dog act. Huh. That guy is a great ventriloquist, but his jokes are terrible. They really are. He's just not funny. He is certainly no Terry Fator.
The final group is Dittleman, Bria Kelly and Tom Cotter. Dittleman is our pick, but let's see. Oof, then it's Cotter. That's rough. His jokes are tired, guys. Stuff we've seriously heard before. That's a bummer.
So the Top 4. We've got Joe Castillo, William Close, Oliver and the Dog and Tom Cotter. As long as Joe and William advance, we don't really care who the third one is. They're pretty much six of one, half a dozen of the other.
Why do they have to whittle from four to three, anyway? They can't have a Top 8? Has to be Top 6? That's weird. Anyway, the three who advance are William Close, Tom Cotter and ... Howard votes for Oliver and Irving, Sharon votes for Joe Castillo and Howie votes for Joe Castillo, so he's through. That's cool, he's very original. And Sharon's point about him performing WITH William Close is excellent. That'd be a cool show, guys.
