'America's Next Top Model': J. Alexander has been 'high fashion from Day One'

When Zap2it spoke to "America's Next Top Model's" Miss J. Alexander, we really had no idea what he may say. After all, he can be spicy. We caught the book author and runway coach fresh from his interview on the KTLA News Morning Show

Cycle 15 is dubbed the "high fashion" cycle with the winner now posing in Vogue Italia rather than the more commercial Seventeen magazine. So, we asked him what that difference might look like to viewers.

"The work is hard. It's the hardest Cycle ever," Miss Jay tells us. "It's very difficult for a girl to come in, who has been milking cows on the farm, you know, having to put on designer couture and make it work, make it come alive and be part of a backdrop of fashion."

We also wondered if the new focus would affect his duties as the show's runway coach. He tells us that the changes don't affect him at all.

"I was always high fashion from Day One," he says. "I thought I was a little too high fashion." All right, Miss J.

For those of you who missed him on the judging panel last Cycle, Miss J. tells us that he's bringing something back from that time and he gives us some hints as to what that is. Watch the video above!
