Production of "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" is well underway, and it sounds like Ron Burgundy fans are in for a few fun surprises. "Stoker" star Nicole Kidman shot scenes in Atlanta for an uncredited cameo in the highly anticipated sequel, according to a report by THR.
Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson are also slated to perform small roles, and "Wreck-It Ralph" star John C. Reilly is rumored to make an appearance.
Previously announced newcomers to the "Anchorman" franchise include Harrison Ford, who will reportedly play a Tom Brokaw type veteran newscaster and Kristen Wiig, who will play the wife of Steve Carrell's character, weatherman Brick Tamland.
Joining Carrell in reprising their roles from the 2004 hit, "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" are Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd and David Koechner. The plot is said to revolve around the news team adjusting to a high-tech world that craves a 24-hour news cycle, and a possible custody battle between Ferrell's Ron Burgundy and Applegate's Veronica Corningstone.
"Anchorman 2" hits theaters Dec. 20.
