Andrew Garfield and Batkid had a 'great time' at Disneyland together despite Oscars snub
"We were happy that Andrew, on his own time, drove to Anaheim on Monday to spend time with Miles and his family," Make-a-Wish spokesperson Josh deBerge tells E! News. "We understand they had a great time."
After rumors started flying that Garfield canceled their skit that was planned to run during the Oscars, both the academy and his rep released a statement revealing that it wasn't Garfield's decision to pull the segment.
All's well that ends well, right? "Andrew did the right thing for Batkid and anyone saying otherwise is flat out lying," the statement says.
