"Andrew's disappearance caused a worldwide campaign of support and search efforts by those who were lucky to be his friends and by those whose lives he touched," reads a statement on Andrew's father Walter Koenig's website. "A beautiful human being, Andrew died in his favorite city, filled with friends, in a park he loved."

The family is currently compiling the touching messages they've received during the search for Andrew.

If you'd like to add your own message for their consideration, the family asks that you visit the Andrew Koenig Forum or email walterkoenigsite@comcast.net.

Since the discovery of Andrew's body, the Koenigs have placed special attention on reaching out to those suffering from depression.
