"Anger Management" has cast a new series regular. The Charlie Sheen series will welcome Laura Bell Bundy as a new sex-focused psychologist.

Bundy, a Tony-nominee and a country-music singer/songwriter, will come onboard as Charlie's new sex-study research partner. Dr. Jordan Denby is a brilliant psychologist who turns Charlie's emotional life into a roller coaster, thanks to a recent divorce, crazy mood swings and a fondness for alcohol.

Most notable for her work on the stage, Bundy was nominated for a Tony award in 2007 for originating the role of Elle Woods in "Legally Blonde -- The Musical" on Broadway. On television, the actress' most recent credits include a recurring part as Shelby on "Hart of Dixie" and a guest-starring spot on "How I Met Your Mother." Bundy's music career includes a single being released on Aug. 19 and a current tour with Rascal Flatts.

"Anger Management" will start filming episodes with its new actress this week. Thanks to star Selma Blair's abrupt departure after a conflict with Charlie Sheen, there is space available on the FX series.
