'Anger Management': Charlie Sheen claims he 'fired' Selma BlairAdd to Favorites | Anger Management
The key word there is "had," though. TMZ reports Sheen and co-star Selma Blair are at odds -- so much so that Sheen claims he "fired" Blair and says he won't work if she shows up to the set Monday (June 17).
The trouble started, according to TMZ, when Blair complained to the show's producers about Sheen's work habits on the show, saying he was frequently late and didn't work very hard when he was there. Sheen got wind of Blair's gripes and went off, going so far as to say she was fired. (Sheen has a financial stake in "Anger Management," but veteran producer Bruce Helford is the showrunner).
TMZ also says Sheen now wants to offer Mila Kunis -- who is dating Sheen's "Two and a Half Men" replacement, Ashton Kutcher -- as much as $1 million per episode to do an arc on the show. That sounds more like Sheen spouting off than a real offer -- no TV actor last season, per this report, was pulling in seven figures per episode.
FX, which airs "Anger Management," referred Zap2it's request for comment to Lionsgate, which produces the show. As of this post the studio hadn't responded.
"Anger Management" is in the midst of filming 90 episodes after ratings for the show's first 10 installments last year triggered the pickup. FX and FOX, which is running a handful of episodes this summer, have aired 34 so far.
