Angus T. Jones not appearing in next two episodes of 'Two and a Half Men'Add to Favorites |
Angus T. Jones chose a good time to release his religious testimony begging fans to stop watching "Two and a Half Men," because he was already scheduled to not appear in the next two episodes of the hit CBS show.
Jones won't appear in the two "Two and a Half Men" episodes that are scheduled to film before the holiday hiatus, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. "The absence of Angus' character Jake, who is in the Army and therefor does not appear in every episode of the show, is pure coincidence," the site writes. The episodes that are filming this month won't air until 2013.
That works out well for Jones, as producers haven't yet spoken to the 19-year-old about the two videos of his testimony released. In them, Jones called "Two and a Half Men" "filth" and begged, "Please stop watching it." It's yet to be seen whether Jones will end up leaving the series.
"Jake from 'Two and a Half Men,' means nothing," Jones says in his testimonial. "He is a non-existent character. If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching 'Two and a Half Men.' I'm on 'Two and a Half Men,' and I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it, please stop filling your head with filth."
"It's bad news," he continues. "I don't know if it means any more coming from me, but you might not have heard it otherwise. So just watch out. A lot of people don't like to think about how deceptive the enemy is. He's been doing this for a long longer than any of us have been around. So we can't play around. There's no playing around when it comes to eternity."
