Anna Chlumsky meets Hannibal Lecter in NBC's 'Hannibal'

"Hannibal" hails from "Pushing Daisies" mastermind Bryan Fuller and stars acclaimed Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen as the erudite psychopath and Hugh Dancy as his FBI agent foe Will Graham.

Chlumsky will play FBI trainee Miriam Lass, according to TVLine. The character will be mentored by Jack Crawford ( Laurence Fishburne), but considering Chlumsky is still committed to "Veep," Miriam may not last long.

Eddie Izzard also recently joined the "Hannibal" cast (after the updated "Munsters" pilot "Mockingbird Lane" that he worked on with Fuller wasn't picked up to series). Additional "Hannibal" guest stars include "Daisies" vets Raul Esparza, Molly Shannon, Ellen Greene and Gina Torres. Fuller's "Wonderfalls" leading lady Caroline Dhavernas co-stars with Mikkelsen and Dancy.
