Anne Hathaway starring in Mindy Kaling scripted romantic comedy
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film focuses on "a woman whose lack of self-worth has limited her choice in men to losers. When she is about to hit the bottom of the barrel, life takes an unexpected turn when she is pursued by the hottest guy ever."
Kaling is expected to take a supporting role, assuming she can find time in her schedule now that Fox has renewed her freshman comedy series "The Mindy Project" for a full season. Kaling collaborated with Brent Forrester, another veteran of NBC's "The Office," on the "Lizzie" script.
Hathaway will next be seen in "Les Miserables," opening Dec. 25, and is expected to play a role in Steven Spielberg's sci-fi epic "Robopocalypse" with Chris Hemsworth.
