Just as reporters and fans have not stopped asking Kristen Bell questions about the long-talked-about but likely never happening "Veronica Mars" movie we all want, Bell herself has not stopped being game to reprise her most famous TV character on the big screen.
She spoke about a potential film to E! Online and the Huffington Post in recent weeks, telling E! at the "House of Lies" premiere party, "We're all dying to do a 'Veronica Mars' movie. I would absolutely be game. We're trying to find creative ways to figure out a 'Veronica Mars' reunion."
Bell told the Huffington Post in December, "I don't know if it will ever come to be, but it's not off the table for me. I would make time for it in a heartbeat and that's a decent part of it done, when you've cast Veronica Mars."
Other folks are on board as well, not the least of which is creator Rob Thomas. "I know Rob Thomas has it in his heart to make it; this is his baby. It's not off the table for any of us," Bell says. "We're just still trying to champion the powers that be to believe us. The reality is, we need a few million dollars to do it and that's a lot of money. It's difficult to convince a studio to take that risk when you're proposing to them to make a movie of a television show that's been off the air for four years."
Regardless of whether a movie ever happens, you can still see Bell in her new Showtime comedy "House of Lies," which premieres Sunday, Jan. 8 on the network.
