'Arrested Development' casting: Kristen Wiig to play the young Lucille Bluth
Details are sketchy about Wiig's guest-starring role, so we don't know at what point in the Bluth matriarch's life we will see. "Arrested Development" has hinted at a rather storied career for Lucille (played by Jessica Walter throughout the series) during the woman's early years, so whatever the era, it should be a lot of fun.
Best known for her roles in "Bridesmaids" (which she also co-wrote) and "Saturday Night Live," Wiig has an acting history with "Arrested Development" star Jason Bateman -- the two co-starred in the comedy films "Paul" (although the two did not share much screen time) in 2011 and "Extract" in 2009.

Wiig is not the only big guest star we can expect when Netflix brings "Arrested Development" back to our TV and computer screens -- Seth Rogen will also appear. The streaming service plans to release the full season of this comedy classic sometime in the spring of 2013.
